OUR FOUNDERS
Tom Schnetzer, Chris Bogiages, and Ray Bell formed HIMformatics in early 2002. Our goals were simple: Serve our clients brilliantly, make a difference in HIT, and enjoy what we do.
Tom has over twenty years of experience in healthcare and information technology. Tom has managed and participated in dozens of strategic information management engagements with large healthcare organizations and integrated delivery networks, and has deep experience in the eHealth arena. He is a frequent speaker for various executive and board retreats, trade shows, and conferences on a variety of strategic information management topics
Tom holds a BS in Management (specialization in Computer Sciences) from Georgia Tech. He is married and has two daughters. Look for Tom on the golf course on Friday afternoons.
Chris has served the health care industry for over twenty-five years. He has developed and implemented strategic information technology plans for numerous health care providers, ranging from academic medical centers to children’s hospitals to rural community hospitals. In addition, Chris has served as an executive advisor on leadership development and organization design.
Chris is a graduate of the University of Florida (BS, MBA) and is a Fellow with the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE). He has served as guest lecturer for several graduate health programs, and has conducted educational sessions and workshops at numerous regional industry seminars and conferences.
Chris is married and has two children, and enjoys mountain biking and tennis.
Ray has far more gray hair than Tom or Chris, but he has earned it. Ray has mentored many of us during his thirty-plus years of service. He continues to push his clients and associates forward with a mix of insight, instinct, and humor. He has served in executive leadership roles for international consulting firms and has experience on the software vendor side as well. Ray has enormous expertise and insight in the system implementation arena, and has assisted several organizations with custom system design and development.
Ray is a graduate of Iowa State University. He is married, and dotes on his five children and four grandchildren. Weather permitting; weekends are spent boating on Lake Lanier.
